Carers Cafe - The Herbert Protocol

14th January session: The Herbert Protocol presented by Police Constable Tony Duddell The Herbert Protocol is a form that carers, family or friends of a vulnerable person can fill in. It contains a list of information to help the police if the person goes missing, including: Medication required, mobile numbers, places previously located, a recent photograph Keeping a completed form saves the worry of trying to recall the information during the stressful time of someone going missing. It also saves time for the police, allowing the search to start sooner. Held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, our Informal Carers Cafe is a chance to meet other carers and find out about opportunities for training, social events, trips and activities. We host a rolling programme of expert speakers alongside fun and therapeutic activities. You can also find out more about the individual support we can offer to carers to understand their entitlements and navigate services.
