Carers Cafe - Death Café

11th February session: Death Café presented by Jenny Simmonds Social Work Manager St Joseph’s Hospices and Dr Susan Hennessey Lead Clinical Psychologist in Palliative Care Barts Health NHS Trust At a Death Cafe people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death.Our objective is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'. Held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month, our Informal Carers Cafe is a chance to meet other carers and find out about opportunities for training, social events, trips and activities. We host a rolling programme of expert speakers alongside fun and therapeutic activities.
