Our Lockdown Diaries - Digital Exhibition at Barbican Library

This exhibition's aim is to show a series of selected art works, letters by the participants, volunteers and the artist during and post Lockdown and how we all were and are connected with creativity.

Barbican & Community Libraries began a project in February 2020 called 'Connect  with creativity' partnering with visual artist Madhumita Bose and funded by the GLA, culture seeds. The idea was to bring all sections of the community living in the City of London together by offering free creative sessions. The project started extremely well at Barbican Library and at Artizan Street library. We had around 55 participants. Then came Covid-19 and lockdown, and as a result we switched from face to face sessions to sessions run via email instruction.

The exhibition starts on October 15th and will last for a month until November 15th 2020.
