City of London Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2023-27

The City of London Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2023-27 Public Consultation is now open!

Survey closes on 12 March.

The City of London Corporation has launched a public consultation on its new Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2023-27. We want to hear your views to make sure we deliver the best strategy for those who are at risk of homelessness and homeless or rough sleeping.

Our vision is that when homelessness occurs – or is threatened – the strength of our response ensures it is brief, it does not re-occur, it’s impact on the individual and our communities is minimised, and it is prevented where we can act to do so.

The Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy 2023-27 sets out what we aim to do to ensure those at risk of or experiencing homelessness or rough sleeping in the Square Mile are supported by our services and delivery partners in a swift, effective, compassionate, fair and respectful way.

You can view our draft strategy and respond to the survey by visiting www.cityoflondon.gov.uk/services/housing/homelessness-or-at-risk/homelessness-and-rough-sleeping-strategy-consulation – the consultation ends on Sunday 12 March.

What is Homelessness and Rough Sleeping?

Homelessness occurs when someone is at risk of losing the place that they live in and having no home to live in

Rough Sleeping is the most visible and dangerous form of homelessness, where someone is sleeping out on the streets
