Join local GPs and health experts for a session for anyone living in east London, including Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Newham, Waltham Forest, Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge, Havering or The City of London.

You may have questions about the vaccine and fertility; what side-effects you might expect; or you may want to know more about where you can have it done; why boosters are important; or why your 12-15 year old should have it. It will be hosted by the following local experts: · Dr Jagan John GP and Chair North East London CCG (Chair) · Tamsin Bicknell, a Consultant Midwife at Homerton Hospital · Dr Ellen Schwartz, Consultant in Public Health Medicine and City and Hackney Public Health Covid-19 lead.

Providing a range of services and projects for people who would like support, particularly older people, people with disabilities and people confronting mental health challenges, across North East London and The City.
Services below are open to City residents:
- Staying steady: free 24 week falls prevention exercise programme for over 55 year olds – with venues in the City.
- Otago home exercise programme: free six session over 6 months at home.
- Home safety checks: free safety check of the home by a trusted assessor.
- Making Room: hoarding support – initial assessment fee of £75 +VAT, on going sessions are £120 + VAT for a session of 2 hours.

Suicide Bereavement SErvice – Public Launch by Mind
Join us on 25th November 6-7pm for a public event to mark the launch of the new Grief in Pieces service, part of Safe Connections.
You will get a chance to hear some stories from people who have been impacted by suicide loss and why the service is important, learn about values, approach and how this work fits into the wider suicide prevention strategy.

Working Together Group (WTG) for Carers – with Heena Patel
This WTG is to invite ‘People Participation’ to shape future Mental Health Serivces as part of our Community Mental Health Transformation Programme.
Our sessions are open to all Carers living in – or caring for those in – the London Boroughs of Tower Hamlets, Newham or City of London & Hackney.
We understand the difficult and taxing day-to-day demands some Carers may have and hence this is a flexible opportunity to take part as and when you can. Please register to receive the log in details for our live session. Please allow up to two hours for this get together until 4.30pm.

The following groups can get a flu vaccine for free from their GP:
- pharmacy, or other healthcare professionals
- you’re aged 50 and over (including those who will be 50 by 31 March 2022)
- you live in residential care or another long-stay care facility
- you provide care for an older or disabled person
- you live in the same household as someone who is immunosuppressed
- you have certain health conditions. A full list can be found on the NHS website.
- you’re pregnant
- frontline health and social care workers

Squish Space at the Barbican – Sensory Play Area for Children Under Five and Their Families
About Squish Space
The space brings people together to learn through interaction, collaboration and play. Using a variety of materials and tactile objects, it’s a place to spin jump, hide, touch and explore. Squish Space is produced by artists India Harvey and Lisa Marie Bengtsson in collaboration with Barbican Creative Learning.

COL Adult Skills and Education Service
The Adult Skills and Education Service works in partnership with community and voluntary organisations, schools, children’s centres and libraries to offer training and education to adults living in the City of London.
Together with partner organisations we provide:
- a wide range of family learning courses
- employment skills training
- literacy programmes
- activities for older people.
