Opportunity for Adult Creatives at Hoxton Hall

We are running a creative workshop programme, Finding Our (Creative) Voice, in November in partnership with Kakilang, an NPO that produces and presents world-class interdisciplinary art from a wide spectrum of Southeast and East Asian voices.

It is designed for all community members who are interested in storytelling through creative means but have little to no arts experience. We thought it may be of interest to your network! When Kakilang delivered it last year, they received feedback from the participants that they thoroughly enjoyed having an accessible, supportive and welcoming space to express themselves and connect with one another.

Participants will join 4 workshop sessions at Hoxton Hall and engage in various creative exercises led by experienced writer, performer, filmmaker and Associate Artistic Director at Kakilang Daniel York Loh and experienced multi-form artist Bettina Fung. There will be a final (optional) sharing session for participants to present their work to family and friends in the beautiful main hall at Hoxton Hall.

Registration of interest is open now until next Wed 25th Oct via this form: https://forms.gle/JdzUAAB6thtEELTC9

Spaces are limited so we recommend registering soon!

There will be a fee of £20 for all 4 sessions. Bursaries can be arranged for those in need. Refreshments will be provided.

For any enquiries, e.g. about access requirements or bursaries, please contact Katrina Man (Arts and Community Producer, Kakilang) at katrina@kakilang.org.uk or phone on 07488 878692.”
