It’s tough facing a terminal illness, but Marie Curie provides befrienders who are volunteers and are there to help you through. If you just fancy a chat and a cuppa, our brilliant helper volunteers can just listen or talk you through it.

They are also available for carers and family of those affected, provides companionship, someone to talk through issues with or just pass the time. We can offer practical help for appointments or everyday tasks or even a short break for you as a carer.

If you are over 18 and a carer for someone who is terminally ill you can refer yourself on: 0800 3047 403.
